SABS Chairman's Award for Excellence
Winners of the 1999 Chairman's Award for Excellence, which is an award presented to the most exceptionadesign entry, by a majority of votes from the panel of judges at the annual SABS (South African Bureau of Standards) Design Institute Awards. Bright Weights competed against major multi nationals for this award.


Dive Innovation Award
Dive Magazine, Britains best selling dive publication, tested all available scuba weighting systems in Britain. Bright Weights came out tops by winning the dive innovation award.

Palm d' Or Award
The "Palm d'Or" (Golden Palm Award) for the best new diving product in 1999, at the 26th Festival Mondial (International Underwater Film Festival) in Antibes, Juan les Pins, France.

 

 

 

 

Tester's Choice Award
Rodale's Scuba Diving Magazine is a US based publication and probably the most respected diving publication in the world. In a competition involving trim systems from all over the world Bright Weights won the "Testers Choice" award.
